The U.S. Pakistan Partnership for Agricultural Market Development (AMD) Program is a four year USAID funded program implemented by CNFA in Pakistan. The objective of AMD is to support the development of Pakistan’s commercial agriculture, particularly through improving the ability of Pakistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors to meet both international and domestic demand in targeted product lines.
The Pakistani meat sector is poised to progress by increased production of high quality meat as a result of increasing number of integrated and modern feedlots. This production must be accompanied by the manufacturing and marketing of high quality meat products. As part of the project’s aim of capacity building in this sector, AMD is delivering trainings to meat processors on standard operating procedures and best practices related to food safety and hygiene. These trainings will be delivered by an international food safety expert.
The project is looking to procure sets of Meat Carving Knives for demonstration and hands on application during these trainings in order to educate staff on the use of this equipment and the maintenance of food safety standards. Please refer to the attached RFQ document for exact specfications.
The deadline for applications is 12PM local time April 24, 2017. Quotations must be submitted by soft copy to email@example.com.
