Indus Resource Centre is looking for highly committed and motivated individuals to fill the following position for its USAID supported “Pathways to Success” Project, which aims to provide educational and entrepreneurship opportunities to girls in District Karachi and Ghotki .The project is executed by USAID through its contractor World Learning, with Engro Foundation(EF)as the lead organization and IRC as its implementing partner.

Qualification: BBA – Supply Chain or preferably MBA – Supply Chain

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in the NGO sector in procurement department

Location: Karachi

Reports to:  Project Coordinator, Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor IRC’s staff attendance register, stock registers, office supplies and equipment twice a month
  • Procure materials and equipment in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures laid out by IRC
  • Gather information of all prospective suppliers for purposes of accrediting them
  • Establish good contact with all material and service providers and negotiate better procurement deals
  • Ensure availability of resources for office staff’s travel and meetings
  • Overlook logistics of all IRC activities
  • Prepare reports on the status of the overall project procurement process and funds available
  • Manage all IRC office resources and supervise cars/drivers, office support staff and office assistant
  • Prepare and issue reports of administration and logistics related monitoring activity
