Job Purpose: You would be responsible for planning, and management of skills development interventions related to HMTP in HHA target regions. It includes entire functioning of the program (budgeting, procurement request, recruitment, and training), planning and execution of the interventions. You will ensure the effective management of HMTP, and the project funded hospitality trades across Pakistan. You will provide the technical support, guidance, and facilitation to regional team to achieve the set milestones.

As a Senior Program Manager HMTP, your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Liaison and closely coordinate with stakeholders including direct beneficiaries to improve the quality of training, service delivery and secure international accreditation and registration;
  • Build and strengthen strong linkages with target industry, academia, target beneficiaries and communities to promote the skills development agenda with a focus on HMTP;
  • Responsible for overall management and implementation of HMTP related activities where and when required across Pakistan and to provide leadership and guidance in all aspects of HMTP implementation through the conclusion of the training/activities.
  • Extend support and facilitate regional teams to execute HMTP and to increase the outreach where HHA intends to expand horizontally and vertically;
  • Extend due support and facilitation to operational staff for the implementation of integrated MIS and financial management system;
  • To provide technical inputs and expertise to program development team and work on financial modeling, budgeting and to set each training entities as cost centers.
  • To plan and take strategic steps to establish HMTP as a sustainable entity and going concern;
  • Explore and grip the partnership and networking opportunities to increase the program reach, improving cost recovery, visibility, and growth of organization;
  • Provide technical assistance and facilitation to regional job placement/employment cells to develop placement plan, achieve employment targets and facilitate the trained youth in initiating micro enterprises by engaging MFIs; accelerators and training providers;
  • Manage and guide a versatile team of professionals in an effective and efficient way to achieve project deliverables in given time period and within given resources;
  • Take lead in preparing plans and consolidated periodic progress reports, present project milestones as and when HHA higher management requires;
  • Support in the hiring of HMTP related professional staff, assigning their role and extend due support to achieve the deliverables and anticipated results;
  • Supervise the support and admin as well as marketing staff to ensure the timely and integrated support to HMTP teams;
  • Any other task assigned by the management.
  • Conduct a needs analysis from various sources including instructors, training officers, training managers and donors on the effectiveness of the HMTP. Assess data and, as appropriate, implement continuous improvements to content.
  • Respond to inquiries about training program content, application, and design from internal as well as external stakeholders.
  • Ensure content is completed using curriculum design standards appropriate for the delivery channel (instructor-led, simulator-based, computer-based, competency-based).
  • Create, produce and distribute appropriate instructional aides with appropriate instructional formats including slides, overheads, video recordings, display boards, lab activities, handouts, workbooks, reference guides etc. Work with team members and/or vendors to create material as needed and ensure materials are archived for future access when needed.
  • To bring improvement in curriculum and training delivery methods in line with the industry standards, contextually relevant to contemporary trends in the industry;
  • Coordinate with central and regional M&E and communication leads in order to upkeep the updated date and information leading to conduction of program evaluation, visibility, promotion, and projection.
  • To provide technical inputs and expertise to program development team and to ensure that training deliveries are done as per the allocated costings and budgets.
  • Provide direction and support to project team to adhere to all quality standards during the project implementation and management the field operations to ensure the adherence of HMTP activities.
