Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech (USA) dedicated to international development, is recruiting for a Pakistan-based professional for the position below to support a multi-year (2017-2021) USAID-funded sustainable energy project in Pakistan.
The Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications plan that reaches out to both stakeholders and the public to promote and highlight the work and goals of the project. The candidate will also be responsible for disseminating messages about the project to the project’s stakeholders such as the Government of Pakistan.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
QUALIFICATIONS: (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications
5 to 7 years communications experience required. Preferably in corporate communications, or working for a USAID funded project.
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
Experience writing about energy issues
Some experience with social media communications
Very high level of professionalism and awareness required
Excellent language proficiency in both writing and speaking in English and Urdu.
