Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech (USA) dedicated to international development, is recruiting for a Pakistan-based professional for the position below to support a multi-year (2017-2021) USAID-funded sustainable energy project in Pakistan. Position based in Islamabad, with travel to project sites as required.
The M&E Specialist will work closely with the project team to implement the project’s monitoring and evaluation plan that will assess and track project activities to report on their impact. Core responsibilities will include monitoring the project’s performance indicators, deliverables, and M&E procedures, to ensure that the project’s management and USAID have timely and precise information regarding project progress and that the impact of the project is accurately measured and documented.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
QUALIFICATIONS: (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, International Relations, Statistics, or similar discipline required.
5 to 7 years of M&E experience required.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods, including design, analysis and interpretation of results.
Familiarity with USAID’s policies and M&E systems is highly desired
Knowledge of the energy sector is highly desired.
Strong organization, personal communication and writing skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
Ability to prioritize simultaneous tasks and coordinate with multiple project personnel
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent language proficiency in both writing and speaking in English and Urdu.
