Specific sectors of interest include: manufacturing, agriculture, and services, including health, education, banking, and non-banking financial institutions, construction, and information communication and technology. The project will likely operate in Karachi, Northern Sindh, South Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

Possible areas of technical and advisory assistance under PYDP may include:

  • Workforce development (recruitment, selection, training, vetting, certification, job placement, evaluation of work environments, and employee performance)
  • Job matching and placement, employment centers

  • Sector-specific assistance in agriculture, manufacturing, and services such as health, education, banking and non-banking financial institutions, construction, and information communication and technology
  • Vocational institutes and skills development (soft and hard)
  • Mobile technology including blended learning and online delivery
  • On the job training

DAI seeks qualified technical specialists skilled in the areas above.

In addition, DAI seeks program management and operations specialists who are skilled in:

  • Finance and Operations
  • Contracts and Subcontracts Management

  • Fluency in English and Punjabi, Urdu, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, or another relevant local language
  • Prior experience managing teams in activity planning and implementation or working productively on a team
