PURPOSE OF THE POST:
Responsible to dispatch vehicles in a safe, objective-driven, economical manner and organizes drivers’ assignments regularly.
Higher Secondary School or technical/professional school diploma.
Two years' work experience in a similar field.
Good computer skills.
Good knowledge of the area of the assignment.
Familiarity with all-terrain vehicles and VHF radio.
Capacity to supervise 15-20 drivers.
Valid driving license.
Independently works to ensure that the fleet is used in a rational manner.
Organizes and plans drivers' duties and assignments; dispatches the assigned vehicles properly.
Responsible to monitor and record vehicle use and fuel consumption on regular basis.
To keep tracks of all vehicle movements using vehicle tracking tools.
Where necessary, checks that field-trip forms are filed and correspond to the assigned mission and that log books are filled out.
To coach and train drivers to prevent corruption and smuggling.
Analyses and mitigates risks (vehicle looting and safety hazards) in dangerous locations.
Takes all necessary steps to implement the delegation's security rules.
