JOB PURPOSE: Manager Human Resources is responsible for creating a productive and gender equitable work environment looking after the overall HRD/HRM function of the organization. The manager provides overall support to the main office as well as to regional/project offices.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
i. Oversee and guide all HR processes including recruitment, payroll, performance management, staff career development, internship program and compliance with organization rules and procedures.
ii. Further improve HR Department and equip it to deal with current and future requirements of the organization.
iii. Revise, refine the HR strategy in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.
iv. Develop and implement a Human Resource Integrated Management Plan (HRIMP) for organization.
v. Ensure the implementation of organization Human Resource Development Plan.
vi. Update and maintain organizational HR policies and procedures as and when required.
vii. Ensuring timely compliance of the organization’s Performance Management system.
viii. Design, develop, coordinate, implement, deliver and evaluate training programs that support organization’s objectives and plan.
ix. Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
x. Ensure efficient coordination with project-based HR focal persons and oversee compliance of organization policies and procedures related to HR.
xi. Effectively manage all grievance and disciplinary issues ensuring that policies and procedures are duly followed.
xii. Identify and propose a creative reward system in keeping with organization priorities and department objectives.
xiii. Provide coaching, facilitation, team development and organization development services to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization’s strategic plans.
xiv. Develop and implement the organization’s succession plan.
xv. Supervise day-to-day activities of the HR Department.
