JOB PURPOSE: The Trainer – Restaurant Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality training in restaurant operations and management to trainees enrolled in the hospitality training program. The trainer will ensure that students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to meet industry standards and become employable in the hospitality sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular training sessions for the Restaurant Manager course, following the provided curriculum and training schedule.
- Design or modify course content as needed to enhance learning outcomes.
- Ensure timely completion of the course content within the specified training duration.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for all assigned classes.
- Prepare and assist in conducting weekly and monthly trainee assessments.
- Develop a detailed training plan and share it with the Training Officer for implementation under the project framework.
- Attend scheduled fortnightly trainers’ meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Create weekly and monthly work plans with course content breakdown aligned with the approved training schedule or scheme.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Coordinator to manage daily training-related matters.
- Enter final evaluation data into the MIS system to support certificate generation.
- Submit material and equipment requisitions required for practical training sessions.
- Maintain records of inventory received and used during the Restaurant Manager training.
- Keep well-organized hard and soft copies of all training-related documents, including evaluations and attendance sheets.
- Support the Training Officer in reviewing trainee attendance and gathering feedback on absentees daily.
- Communicate examination schedules, project events, and key updates to trainees.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth training operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Proficient in IT and online examination tools.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Urdu.
- Ability to engage trainees effectively and manage training activities independently.
