JOB SUMMARY

The candidate will work for the achievement of HR, undergraduate and postgraduate student enrolment targets across all subjects in the UK, Australia and prioritized international markets.

The post-holder will be responsible for producing engaging student marketing and recruitment content for use across channels used by prospective students. This includes printed prospectuses, web, email and digital communications delivered at pre-and post-application stages of the student journey.

As a key member of our content team, you’ll contribute to the development of content strategies and work closely with colleagues throughout student marketing and recruitment to ensure content and brand are used effectively in student recruitment initiatives.

In particular, you’ll play a key role in the development of our printed recruitment materials and associated campaigns, as well as digital recruitment projects such as our online prospectus and the redesign of the international section of our website. Along with this, you will be conducting IELTS classes and preparing students for IELTS exams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teaching IELTS English program to the students
  • Making teaching plans for the IELTS Program. Managing the class; preparing the lessons to be delivered to the students
  • Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises. Marking and providing appropriate feedback to the students. Basic administration, such as keeping student register and attendance records.
  • Manage content projects from conception to completion and ensure outcomes are measured and reported against agreed aims.
  • Play a lead role in the development of our system of recruitment materials (e.g. Undergraduate Prospectus, Postgraduate Guide, UCAS stand and International Guide) and associated campaigns, including project management, liaising with agencies and printers, editing and writing content, campaign planning and design work as required.
  • Work with the HR digital team on the development of key digital recruitment projects, such as our international student webpages and online prospectus, content production and analysis.Research, write, edit and proofread copy and source images for the website, publications and other student marketing and recruitment content, as required.
  • Act as a brand champion for HR, ensuring that content used for student recruitment is fully compliant with brand guidelines.Counsel prospective students to identify appropriate study options including suitable courses and institutions.
  • Assist students in determining an appropriate shortlist of applications to submit, thereby ensuring effective use of counselling time.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in every interaction with students and their families, clients and colleagues.Act with the highest level of accountability with students, clients, colleagues and higher management.Act with integrity and professionalism in all interactions with client representatives.
  • Support Office Manager / Operations Manager / Marketing Teams in the organization of major promotional events such as interview programs, in-house interview sessions and exhibitions, and other activities as required.Provide input on marketing or promotional activities to encourage student numbers.Promote HR through activities such as institution visits, seminars, exhibitions, student associations etc.Attend, lead and participate in office level meetings and activities to support the sharing of information, knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the team as a whole.Identify and leverage opportunities to increase cooperation, efficiency and operational effectiveness between HR’s student placement and IELTS Preparation Programs.Follow up effectively with students and institutions to ensure IELTS and enrolment activities are completed effectively.

Use a full range of available communication channels including email, phone and Information communication features such as SMS and tasks.Effectively present relevant information to students, clients and other key stakeholders as required.Provide regular updates to the higher management of progress, challenges and/or support that may be required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Considerable experience of managing creative marketing and communication projects
  • Experience of developing and delivering multichannel creative content, including writing, research & copywriting
  • Knowledge of print, film/video, photography, and digital media and how to use these most effectively to reach and engage audiences
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to explain complex information in simple language.
  • Excellent proficiency in English Language either written, spoken or listening.
  • Outstanding communication skills and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders with varying needs (students, parents, institution representatives, colleagues etc.).
  • Excellent planning and organising skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Customer focussed, with a passion for providing outstanding service.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions and act with integrity, in the best interests of HR.
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office, Information systems.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Post-Graduation in English Language
  • At least 5 years of experience in IELTS Teaching
  • Should know the IELTS system well and its exams
  • Teaching certificate is preferable

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Ensure that office operations align with the organization's mission, strategic objectives and policies. Specific duties include keeping yourself updated with contemporary IELTS and University’s requirements. Ensure that the organization follows laws and regulations. Liaising with management at the corporate office and provide reports on activities.
