Post: PROJECT COORDINATOR, MNCH

Location: Sukkar based with periodic field visits

Experience/Qualification: MBBS or MPH

A minimum of three years relevant work experience on maternal, newborn and child health

Relevant experience in Disaster Response and MNCH

Good analytical and conflict resolution skills

Familiarity with country, government structures and MOH partners preferred Self-starter and able to work independently with less supervision Responsibilities:

Job Description:

  • Facilitate in coordinating. planning and implementation of emergency MNCH & EPI related activities including strengthening of Emergency Obstetrics Care services, Maternal, New-born, Child Health services (Health Facilities & Community based) for populations living in the targeted districts (i.e. Rajanpur, Larkana, Qambar ShahdadKot, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Jhal Magsi, Noshki, Jafarabad, Naseerabad, Sohbat Pur)
  • Provide technical assistance and facilitate field team in coordinating, planning and implementationof immunization activities in the targeted districts including coverage of missed &defaulterchildren involving EPI resources under EPI-RI synergy theme.
  • Organize emergency medical camps in targeted areas (if needed).
  • Collect, compile, clean and analyze intervention data on weekly basis and generate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and provide feedback for corrective actions.
  • Provide inputs for Alight internal weekly/monthly SitRep and cluster bulletin.
  • Undertake periodic field visits to support the project activities and monitor successful implementation. Coordinate and present Alight on various forums including health and nutrition cluster/working groups, relevant district and provincial government authorities/departments, PPHI, district health department, I/NGOs working in health and nutrition etc.
  • Undertake analytical interpretation of the available information in order to assess progress.
  • Provide technical assistance to partners in their plans and field work.
  • Collect and share feedback for corrective actions.
  • Forecast and manage supply needs, delivery and flow to partners, local authorities and end users.
  • Develop trainings and Advocacy, Communication & Social Mobilization (ACSM) plans for the intervention.

Note: Hiring will be on rolloing basis.
