A national-level organization is looking for qualified. experienced and competent candidates, 1 male and 1 female for its project in Nowshehra, Swat and D I Khan. The position is based in Peshawar but frequently travel to the project area.
Job Description: M&E officer is desired to implement the field activities stipulated time frame and resources. Related tasks are as under:
- Coordinate with field formations for compilation and dissemination of daily , Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and final reports as per IDEA and donor requirement
- Frame the work plan in consultation with field formation
- Facilitate and report programmatic data analysis, documentation and reporting of assessments, program data, framing data collection reporting tools in consultation with QAA and MEAL Director
- Develop and maintain an effective information database on projects, providing resources and necessary support for program inputs and outputs.
- Collecting and providing necessary data from the field and sharing it with data analysts for further action.
- Document and analyze innovative human interest stories.
- Documents bottlenecks, problems and issues, and proposes effective solutions
- Ensures monitoring framework\plan is updated on a regular basis
- Submitting daily updates, and weekly and monthly reports on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities agreed upon in the cooperation agreements and detailed work plans;
- Accompanying project visitors to the field when required, in consultation with the Project Coordinators and MEAL Manager.
Qualification:
Master in Social Science or equivalent with 2 to 5 years experience in Monitoring and Evaluation
Skills and knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mix well with people of all backgrounds
- Ability to listen and observe carefully, remember well and write detailed notes
- Inquisitive and questioning nature and interest in people (including the ability to challenge own assumptions)
- Adaptable, committed, and flexible attitude.
- Computer skills, including MS/World and email.
- Understands child protection and safeguarding policies.
- Understands the Protection against exploitation and sexual abuse. Well-versed with the workplace sexual harassment policy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
