A national-level organization is looking for qualified. experienced and competent candidates, for its project in Nowshehra, Swat, and D I Khan. The position is based in Peshawar but frequent travel to the project area.

Qualification,

BSc. Civil Engieering or B Tech from a recognised university

Job Description:

1. Design and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet the goals and objective of the project.
2. Ensure the development of accurate Bill of Quantities ( BoQs) and detailed technical drawings for all the WASH interventions in liaison with relevant technical staff from the government authorities and implementing partners
3. Supervise and be responsible for all the technical aspects for project implementation, make sure that contractors complete project work in a timely, efficient and accurate manner with respect to standard engineering
4. Ensure community involvement at all phases of the project and the development of community ownership of the project.
5. Guarantee the respect of construction standards as well as the security practices at the project site.
6. Provide feedback to the monitoring and evaluation system in order to assess the effectiveness and the impact of the projects and propose recommendations for improvement
7. Contribute to the development of constructive solutions to challenges identified by the community and contractors
8. To apprise senior management of IDEA regarding progress and activities
9. To compile relevant reports as per the requirement of the donor.
10. Responsible for planning, program design, and ensuring its proper implementation at the field level.
11. Monitoring visits to field and providing technical support to field staff
12. Ensure that all targets are achieved in time and with quality.
13.  Ensure that project activity are in accordance with norms and standards of donor & IDEA.PDMA as well as according to available budget lines and limitations.
