Job Description:
- Build the GIS geodatabase in editable, georeferenced formats
- Species distribution/habitat suitability modelling with the modelling team
- Multi-criteria hotspot delineation and Hotspot Priority Index maps
- Remote sensing analysis (Sentinel, Landsat, DEM): LULC, NDVI, fragmentation, connectivity, threat maps
- Deliverable 6 (GIS database and maps); data handover ; GIS training
Required Experiance:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional/research experience
- GIS database development
- Remote sensing; spatial modelling
- Habitat suitability mapping
- Biodiversity hotspot analysis
Required Qualification:
- BS/MS/MPhil in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Forestry, Environmental Sciences or related field
