Background

A leading local organization is implementing a UN Women-funded project in Balochistan aimed at strengthening the capacities of Women Home-Based Workers (WHBWs) through skills development, digital literacy, and enhanced economic participation. As part of this initiative, the organization plans to conduct a series of 15-day intensive capacity-building trainings, each focused on the following skill areas:

  • Tailoring
  • Embroidery
  • Candle Making
  • Jewellery Making
  • Beautician

Key Responsibilities of Lead Trainer

  • Lead and facilitate sessions in Urdu or Local languages.
    • Pre- and post-assessments will be conducted to measure improvements in knowledge, skills, and business readiness.
    • Last 2 days dedicated to clubbing enterprise development and market linkages.
    • Ensure community-level arrangements, including participant coordination, venue, and basic logistics.
    • Ensure compliance with donor standards and Organization’s training methodology.
    • Maintain daily attendance of the participants.
    • Prepare a detailed report on the event.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of training experience (at least)
  • Experienced in conducting training at the community level
  • Basic costing/pricing and packaging knowledge is a plus
  • Preference will be given to trainers who have experience in developing market linkages
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and reporting skills.

Duration & Deliverables

  • 15 consecutive days in Quetta.
  • Submission of training report, participant feedback, and attendance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           How to Apply
