Request for Information (RFI)

CRS Global Emergency Response

Vendor Prepositioning Exercise

Introduction

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is an international humanitarian and development organization serving vulnerable populations in more than 80 countries. As part of its humanitarian mandate, CRS provides emergency assistance to individuals and communities affected by natural disasters, conflict, displacement, public health emergencies, and other crises.

CRS invites qualified suppliers and service providers globally to submit information for inclusion in CRS' Global Emergency Response Vendor Database. This initiative aims to strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacity by identifying suppliers capable of providing critical goods and services during humanitarian emergencies.

The information submitted will be used to:

  • Develop and maintain a centralized global database of emergency response vendors including country, region, commodity, and service category.
  • Strengthen CRS emergency preparedness and readiness efforts.
  • Support future market assessments, prequalification exercises, supplier vetting activities, and competitive procurement processes.
  • Improve CRS's ability to rapidly source critical goods and services during emergencies.

Desired Vendor Characteristics

CRS seeks information from organizations that can demonstrate most or all of the following:

  • Experience supporting humanitarian, development, government, multilateral, or commercial operations.
  • Capacity to scale operations during periods of increased demand.
  • Reliable quality assurance and quality control systems.
  • Compliance with applicable national and international regulations.
  • Strong financial and operational capacity.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and anti-corruption principles.
  • Ability to operate in challenging or remote environments.
  • Experience supporting emergency, disaster response, or rapid deployment operations.

Submission of information through this RFI does not constitute a contract, approved supplier status, or guarantee of future business.

Instructions: Please complete and submit the following form, including required attachments as outlined. Vendor documentation provided through other delivery mechanisms shall not be accepted for this roster.
