Job Description:

 

Position Title: Procurement, Administration & Logistics Intern

Location: Islamabad

Duration: 3 Months (Full-time Internship)

Stipend: As per organizational policy

FAID works across thematic areas, including health and care, secure income, resilience, and advocacy.

Position Summary:

FAID is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement, Administration & Logistics Intern to support its operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement processes, vendor management, administrative coordination, and logistics support within a dynamic development and humanitarian environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and processing of purchase requests and purchase orders (POs)
  • Conduct market research and vendor identification
  • Maintain supplier databases and support vendor communication
  • Assist in procurement documentation, filing, and compliance tracking
  • Support contract management and tracking of expiry/renewals
  • Assist in inventory tracking and asset management
  • Provide logistics support for events, trainings, and field activities
  • Support administrative tasks including correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping
  • Assist in cost analysis and preparation of procurement reports

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
  • Prior internship experience (preferred but not mandatory)
