Job Summary:T
he Donor Data Management Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate donor records, strengthening reporting systems, supporting RD budgeting, and enabling effective donor stewardship as the organization’s donor base and reporting requirements continue to grow. The role ensures that fundraising data and budgets are reliable, transparent, and usable for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update donor records, including contact details, giving history, pledges, and restrictions
  • Track donor giving patterns and support segmentation for fundraising and engagement purposes
  • Develop and share regular dashboards and reports on fundraising progress and pipeline performance
  • Support preparation, tracking, and monitoring of the Resource Development (RD) budget, including projections, allocations, and variance tracking
  • Coordinate closely with the finance team to reconcile donations, pledges, receipts, and RD budget figures
  • Ensure timely donor acknowledgments, thank-you communications, and banking confirmations
  • Support preparation of donor reports, proposals, and updates with accurate financial and donor data
  • Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal reporting and budgeting standards
  • Assist senior management with fundraising performance analysis and budget-linked decision-making
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) with Finance as a major, or an equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business management
  • 3-4 years of experience in donor data management, fundraising operations, budgeting, finance, or a related role
  • Prior experience in the non-profit sector is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and analyze financial and donor datasets
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, donor databases, and reporting tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with fundraising, finance, and communications teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Reports to: Resource Development / Fundraising LeadWorks closely with: Finance and Communications teams
