Job Overview

The Junior Trainer will be responsible for preparing the next generation of skilled technicians. You will deliver standardized training modules in technical subjects like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or IT, and oversee the practical development of students. This role requires a high level of technical competency combined with the ability to simplify complex industrial concepts for learners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom lectures and workshop demonstrations based on the 3 year Diploma curriculum.

  • Oversee practical sessions in technical labs like wiring labs, machining shops, or computer labs, ensuring students use tools correctly.

  • Assist Senior Trainers in updating training manuals to reflect current industry trends in Electrical, Mechanical, or IT sectors.

  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on training equipment, tools, and diagnostic software to ensure 100% uptime for classes.

  • Educate students on "Safety First" protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and emergency shut-off procedures.

  • Track individual student progress through periodic practical tests, theoretical quizzes, and "Job Card" evaluations.

  • Guide students through final-year projects, helping them troubleshoot circuit designs, mechanical assemblies, or software bugs.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have 03 year Post-Matric Diploma (DAE) in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or IT. or a 3-year Post-Matric Diploma in a specialized Vocational Trade such as Knitting, Tailoring, Embroidery.

  • Minimum 05 years of relevant field experience. This can include industrial work, site supervision, or previous experience in a technical training institute.

  • Deep understanding of technical drawings, circuit diagrams, or vocational patterns, depending on the specific trade.

  • Age Limit: 18 – 30 years

  • Ability to identify and fix faults in machinery or systems during live demonstrations.

  • Ability to explain technical jargon in plain language that students can easily grasp.

  • Skills in evaluating a student's technical logic and providing constructive corrections.

  • Keeping the workshop or lab environment structured, clean, and professional.
