Job Summary:
The Safeguarding Officer will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of safeguarding measures across all project activities. S/he will ensure that children, particularly girls, and vulnerable adults are protected from harm, abuse, exploitation, and neglect throughout project implementation.

Job Specifications:
Education:
Master’s degree in Social sciences, Psychology, Gender Studies, Law, or related field from HEC-recognized university.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Education, child protection, safeguarding, PSEA, or gender-based violence (GBV) roles, preferably in education or humanitarian projects.
- Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel to field locations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong commitment to child rights and gender equality.
- Knowledge of RL, TaRL and ECE approaches.
- Empathy, patience, and ability to build trust with children and communities.
- Excellent coordination and networking skills with government and civil society actors.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in handling sensitive cases.
