Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic candidates for the position of Warehouse Assistant based at Community Health Program, Karachi.

Position Summary:

The incumbent will work as a Warehouse Assistant at Aga Khan Health Service, Regional Office. The role supports warehouse operations through effective assistance in inventory management, stock handling, storage, reporting, and distribution of pharmaceutical, surgical, dental, and vaccine-related supplies. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate records in the ERP system and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving and processing incoming stock, pharmaceutical, surgical & dental items, ensuring that they are accurately counted, inspected, and properly stored.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure that all materials are accounted for.
  • Assist in preparing monthly physical count report with warehouse pharmacist.
  • Assist with the preparation and packing of orders, ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and packaged.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels to ensure that materials are available when needed.
  • Assist with the coordination of deliveries and returns, ensuring that all items are properly logged and accounted for.
  • Assist in coordinating with the EPI team for all vaccine-related handling, reporting, and distribution across the center’s.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate data regarding stock/ inventory in the ERP system of the organization.
  • Assist in monthly reporting of the stock/inventory in the warehouse including near expiry and other relevant reports.
  • Should remain in coordination with the central supply chain team, purchase department and the registered vendors.
  • Assist in generating quarterly item requisition for the unit under warehouse.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Intermediate /preferably Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
  • 1-2 years of experience in store or exposure to inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in using ERP system
  • Possesses planning & organizing skills
  • She /He has the ability to handle complex tasks and to meet challenges
  • Possesses polite and positive attitude.
