The major role & responsibilities of the position is as following:
- Assist the Program Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of project work plans and schedules.
- Collaborate on P/CVE initiatives, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of project reports, including progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure that all reports comply with donor’s guidelines and requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance measures to ensure high standards in project implementation.
- Coordinate and communicate with project partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating project meetings, workshops, and events.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to promote gender inclusion and advocacy initiatives.
- Document lessons learned and best practices to enhance project implementation.
- Assist in budget monitoring and financial reporting to ensure efficient use of project resources.
- Support the Program Manager in tracking project expenditures and preparing financial documentation.
- Support capacity-building initiatives for project staff and partners, including training sessions and workshops. Support advocacy efforts to promote project objectives and raise awareness of key issues.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor/ LPP management.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably within a USAID-funded project or international development context
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work under pressure, for extended hours, and to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of results.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when dealing with sensitive political issues.
- Strong Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and communication software.
