Position Title: Production Manager

Reports To: Head of Production/Managing Director
Job Summary: The Production Manager oversees and manages all aspects of TV and digital media production. This includes coordinating schedules, budgets, resources, and teams to ensure timely, high-quality production within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and manage production schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate pre-production activities and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Team Coordination:
- Supervise production teams and facilitate communication.
- Recruit and manage freelance and contract personnel.
- Logistics and Resource Management:
- Oversee production logistics, including locations, equipment, and talent.
- Ensure all permits, contracts, and insurance are in place.
- Manage acquisition of props, costumes, and materials.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure content meets quality standards and creative vision.
- Provide feedback to maintain high production values.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Post-Production Coordination:
- Oversee editing, sound design, visual effects, and delivery.
- Ensure timely completion of post-production tasks.
- Coordinate with distribution and marketing for content release.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and expenses.
- Prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in TV and digital content production management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and financial management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with production management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with latest trends and technologies in TV and digital media.
- Experience with both studio and on-location productions.
- Ability to adapt to changing production needs.
Working Conditions:
- May require long hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Involves travel to various production locations.
