Relevant Experience:

For the position of Senior Program Officer, a university degree from a recognized university and 5 year of experience is considered necessary. 

Job Description:

Senior Program Officer is expected to provide technical leadership in the Projects in Pakistan and the region. The Senior Program Officer will be thoroughly involved in internal and external coordination activities at federal level and shall keep eye on the field to ensure the same is continued by the field staff at provincial and district level. She will work closely with the team in field and with the communities to ensure community buy in, explain the project to stakeholders, participate and guide project participant’s selection, support formation of committees and build community and partners’ capacity.

Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of projects to ensure they meet objectives and deliverables.

Oversee and monitor ongoing activities in the field to ensure they are executed as planned and achieve desired outcomes.

Conduct and lead assessments at the field level to gather necessary data and insights.

Establish and maintain coordination with key external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project activities.

Facilitate internal coordination with various departments to ensure seamless project implementation.

Analyze data and prepare initial draft reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the documentation.

Collect monthly workplans from the team, ensuring they align with project timelines and objectives

Follow up on submitted workplans to track progress and address any issues or delays.

Conduct field visits to monitor progress and submit detailed visit reports.

Conduct orientation sessions for newly joined team members to familiarize them with the project portfolio and organizational procedures.

Perform ongoing data analysis and reporting to support project evaluation and decision-making processes
