Job Description:               Program Coordinator

Primary function/purpose

This position exists to support the Program team in designing, planning and management of different project activities, publications, campaigns (on-line and off-line), reports, case studies and Videos etc. The Program Officer will support in managing and developing project reporting’s, designing and launching of campaigns and publications, stories and the creation of substantive knowledge by compiling, synthesizing and analyzing information relevant to Implementing partners and govt departments

Major duties and responsibilities

  • Keep track of and archive all program data, including reports, pictures, and videos along with the documentation related to subgrant award, implementation, and closeout
  • Participate in periodic progress review meetings of implementing partners
  • Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to track program progress and impact
  • Contribute to writing fortnightly, weekly, quarterly, monthly and annual progress reports and other program event reports
  • Develop and design content for all campaigns related to voter and civic education as well as around the international days on social media and offline mediums such as radio programs, radio messages, posts, white board and animated videos, posters, key messages and others
  • Collect and analyze implementing partners' progress reports, success stories, publications, and showcasing documents etc.
  • Design the publications such as reports, case studies, activities one-pagers and other publications
  • Review and develop project activities, products and related documents
  • Provide training and facilitation to local partners as required
  • Conduct monitoring field visits as required
  • Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to track program progress and impact
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as donor regulations and requirements
  • Develop and regularly maintain IPs' progress tracking sheet against targets
  • Represent the organization in external meetings and forums, as required
  • Coordinate with implementing partners on implementation and progress reporting issues
  • Follow up and support interaction with Government counterparts and represent the organization for project initiatives, providing progress reports
  • Draft concept notes, reports, working papers, and information collection with public and private sector organizations
  • Assist in managing training activities as advised by the Senior Program Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager or other senior staff.

Position Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree required in social sciences or any other relevant discipline.
  2. Knowledge of the electoral context of Pakistan.
  3. At least 4 years of work experience in relevant areas.
  4. Experience working with international organizations and INGOs preferred.
  5. Willingness to travel as and when required.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel required
  7. Better understanding of designing software’s/mediums for designing of publications, reports, PPTs, Campaigns, Videos etc. 
  8. Strong English and Urdu written and verbal communication skills are required.
