Scope / Purpose of the Position:

To provide assistance in the design and implementation of CVA (Cash & Voucher Assistance) projects to provide smooth and timely cash assistance as well as maximizing local capacities.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

  •  

To provide assistance in the design and implementation of CVA (Cash & Voucher Assistance) projects to provide smooth and timely cash assistance as well as maximizing local capacities.

  •  

To provide assistance in development on all cash-related activities as required, including market assessment and stakeholder engagement.

  •  

Liaise with relevant stakeholder and assist in smooth coordination, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

  •  

Assist the Program Officer CVA in ensuring branch staff receive relevant skills training and knowledge development required for effective implementation.

  •  

Prepare field plans and ensure coordination with the branch on execution of the plans and visit area of interventions in the field.

  •  

To develop understanding on the mobile application data collection tools and ensure volunteers/staff orientation on the tools.

  •  

To provide assistance in the development of concept note, Plan of Action, and budget.

  •  

To visit field area and conduct cash baselines in vulnerable districts.

  •  

Provide assistance in beneficiary registration, data cleansing and finalization of beneficiary list after scoring matrix.

  •  

To reconcile the CVA project and submit the financial and narrative report with all the relevant supporting as annexures.

  •  

Any other task assigned by the management.

Education

Bachelors in social sciences or other relevant field preferably in disaster management from recognized university / institution.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in disaster management, cash  related projects..

Skills / Knowledge required

-   Very Good skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Word processing.

-   Very Good Communication Skills.

-   Very Good Report Writing Skills.

-   Experience in capacity building and trainings of health service providers.

-   Sound knowledge of software.

-    Very Good team player (service oriented), able to work in stressful situation.

-   Flexibility to adapt to fast changing circumstances.

-   Team Management Skills.

Age Limit

Maximum Age limit upto 35 Years.

Travelling :Extensive in country travelling particularly during emergencies.
