Position: Social Mobilizer

Core Job Responsibilities/Specifications: The Social Mobilizer ’s responsibilities/specifications include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct Broad Based Community Meeting (BBCM) for project introduction at community level.
• Awareness session Climate change.
• Mobilization of target communities for their involvement in project activities and facilitate the community in the formation of Community Development Councils (CDCs) ensuring their roles will contribute in the overall goal achievement of the project targets.
• Organize and deliver community awareness and sensitizations sessions on project goals/outcomes as agreed in the project document.
• Provide Capacity building the Community Development Councils (CDCs) members on Community Management Skills Training (CMST) and Leadership Management Skills Training (LMST).
• Assist CDCs in the development of Developing sustainable development plans.
• Initiate Constructive quarterly dialogues between authorities and CDCs for the development of the areas on various issues.
• Assist project manager in the training of government employees on different themes.
• Assist Project Engineer in the execution of small-scale community physical infrastructure schemes (CPIS) identified in the result of the community development plans (CDPs).
• Keep close coordination with M&E for ensuring timely and accurate data collection and reporting during field activity implementations.
• Identify trainees for the qualitative vocational training programs.
• Develop weekly, monthly/quarterly field visit plans and activity reports will be submitted timely to the line manager.
• Keeping close coordination with community, religious leaders and community leaders
• Facilitate donor’s field visits in the respective communities.
• Ensure inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups and persons with disabilities in project interventions.
• Proper record keeping of project activities at community & office level both in soft & hard form.
• Develop case studies to reflect project impacts.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
• Ensure the timely submission of activities reports.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Perform any task assigned by supervisor as and when required.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge about tools and process of Social Mobilization is required
• Fluency in local languages Pushto and Seraiki/ or Urdu is essential.
• must Ability to communicate effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literate
• National NGO encourages women and persons with disabilities to apply.
• The successful individuals will require to sign different policy documents of the commissioning NGO including e.g. Safeguarding policy and code of conduct.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachler Social Sciences from a reputable and recognized university
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in community mobilization in a national NGO
