Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist- Import / Export specializing in(Market Access) exports and imports to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export and import operations within the different industry, coupled with expertise in business development and market expansion. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, build relationships with companies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the export and import operations, focusing on specific target markets and product categories.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities for exports and imports, keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, distributors, and partners within the industry.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential customers and understand their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts and favorable terms of agreements with international clients, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements, including drafting international purchase agreements.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of international trading practices and procedures to facilitate smooth import and export processes.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare economic reports, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements specific to mineral exports and imports.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products, build networks, and generate leads.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements within the export and import industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 to 4 years in international trading, export, and import operations.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade practices, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks pertaining to mineral exports and imports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain fruitful partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market trends, anticipate challenges, and capitalize on opportunities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office
- Familiarity with Pakistan Customs procedures, Pakistani chambers,
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to travel domestically.
