A National Level Non-Governmental Organization is seeking applications from interested candidates to fill the following position urgently

Academic Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Development Studies, Economics or a related field. Master’s degree will be considered a plus.

Experience in relevant field (No. of Years)

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in grant management, preferably in rural development, access to finance, or enterprise development projects.
  - Proven experience in managing the full grant lifecycle, including application, disbursement, and monitoring.
  - Experience in working with rural communities and understanding the challenges of rural mobilization, livelihood improvement, and enterprise management.

Reporting Line:
The position holder will report directly to the Project Manager.

1.   Objective:
The Grant Management Associate will be responsible for supporting the management and administration of grants provided under the project. This includes overseeing the entire grant lifecycle, from application to disbursement and monitoring. The role requires working closely with rural communities, financial institutions, and project teams to ensure that grants are utilized effectively and that beneficiaries are supported in achieving sustainable outcomes.

2. Key Responsibilities/ Functions:

Grant Administration and Management:
Assist in the design and implementation of grant management processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives and guidelines , Manage the grant application process, including the review and evaluation of proposals, due diligence, and selection of grantees, Oversee the disbursement of grant funds, ensuring compliance with project guidelines and donor requirements.

Capacity Building and Support:
Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to grantees, helping them to develop and implement effective business plans and financial management practices, Organize workshops and training sessions to enhance the capacity of beneficiaries in rural mobilization, access to finance, and enterprise management, Offer ongoing support to grantees, addressing challenges and ensuring that they meet their project objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:
Liaise with project teams, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of grant-related activities, Build and maintain relationships with UC networks, comm. leaders, local govt. and other partners to promote the success of the grant program, Facilitate communication between grantees and the project management team, ensuring that any issues or concerns are addressed.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all grant activities comply with project guidelines, donor requirements, and relevant laws and regulations, Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with grant management, including financial mismanagement and non-compliance, Develop and implement corrective actions to address any issues identified during the monitoring and evaluation process.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Monitor the progress of grant-funded activities, ensuring that they are implemented according to plan and that objectives are being met. Conduct regular field visits to assess the impact of grants on beneficiaries and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Prepare detailed reports on grant activities, outcomes, and impact for project management and donors.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of grant management processes, financial analysis and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including rural communities and financial institutions. Proficiency in data management and reporting tools with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Language:
Fluency in English, Urdu along with having command on local language will be an advantage is required.
