Normeca International AS invites “HQ Technician ” to work in connection with the launch of our project in Pakistan “Mobile Multi Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital” under the management of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and in cooperation with the Government in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The clinics will cover general diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and they are all located in large mobile trailers. The clinics are fully equipped with modern medical equipment and ancillary units such as kitchen, laundry, dining room, conference rooms, etc. The Clinics are operating in KPK and Sindh Regions.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled HQ Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the security and functionality of medical and non-medical equipment. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of handling both installation and repair tasks, as well as ensuring that all equipment complies with industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Security & Installation: Ensure the security of all properties, including both medical and non-medical equipment at headquarters and on-site. Equipment must be installed and stored in a safe and proper manner.
  • Equipment Transportation: Responsible for securing medical and non-medical equipment during trailer transportation to new locations, in coordination with MMU staff and the CM.
  • Relocation Assistance: Accompany the MMUs during moves to ensure that all units arrive without technical issues and assist in the setup of non-medical equipment at new sites.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to MMUs, addressing any challenges related to medical or non-medical equipment.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Perform both minor and major repairs on equipment and manage scheduled services (quarterly, annual, and yearly) for generators and other equipment inside and outside of trailers.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all installations comply with EU standards, and prepare detailed reports on any trailer damage during and after transport.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with MMU technicians to ensure that all equipment is well-maintained and operational.

Qualifications:

  • Technical background or certification in equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Experience with medical equipment is an advance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of EU standards for equipment installation is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to support MMUs on-site.
