Procurement of Planting Material (Seedling & Seed) for 33 Fruit Plant Nurseries in

District Malakand, Lower Dir, Khyber, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Kurram and Orakzai

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under USAID ERDA.

Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 42 of repealed Companies Ordinance 1984 (Now Companies Act 2017). The company operates with the overall mission of economic development & poverty alleviation through development of agribusiness sector of Pakistan.

Associates in development (AiD) Pvt. Ltd. as prime recipient and Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) as sub recipient, are implementing USAID-funded project titled ‘Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs). The project is designed to expand environmentally sustainable, socially equitable and climate resilient economic opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs) by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting on-, off- and non- farm micro- small- and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

A total of 33 existing fruit plant nurseries of KP and its MD’s (Districts Khyber, Dir, Orakzai, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Malakand, Kurram) will be strengthened and upscaled, efforts will be made to register these nurseries with Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department (FSC&RD).  USAID ERDA is procuring planting material (Seed and Seedlings) for the 33 qualified grantees as part of an in-kind grant.
