Job Summary:

The Senior Finance Officer will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company’s financial activities. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Accounting and Reporting:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings and other regulatory reports.

Financial Analysis:

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance and variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the development of financial strategies and long-term financial planning.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to support their financial needs and objectives.
• Provide financial training and guidance to staff as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CA, ACCA or CFA certifications preferred).

Experience:

• 7-8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
