Rozan is a national non-government and not-for-profit organization, working on mental health, gender and violence against women and children since 1998. We are inviting applications for a consultancy services as per below details.

Location: (Hybrid) Islamabad

Name of Consultancy: Development of a National  Strategy on Male  Involvement to address GBV

Purpose of consultancy:

Rozan, with two decades of experience in engaging men and boys to combat gender-based violence (GBV), aims to develop a national male involvement strategy. In collaboration with the Ministry of Human Rights and UNFPA, Rozan seeks to create a roadmap for a gender-just society. Srvices of  a Technical Expert are required to lead the process for strategy development, consulting with academia, civil society, and international organizations to ensure comprehensive input.

Timeline of consultancy:

The Technical Expert will be hired for 60 days that is spread over 6 months duration September 2024 to February 2025.

Required Qualification and Experience:

The consultant should have the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree (Masters Level) in a relevant field (Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Anthropology, and any other relevant field of study under Social Sciences).
  2. At least 15 years of experience related to Strategy Development, Stakeholder Analysis/Engagement, and Development of Policy documents addressing GBV.
  3. Experience of working with Government Departments – Ministry of Human Rights addressing GBV.
  4. Understanding of transformative approaches to masculinities in  addressing GBV.
  5. Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  8. Ability to complete tasks within a set time frame
  9. Strong work ethics and commitment to principles of inclusiveness.
