Relevant Experience:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Social Sciences, Public Administration.
- Minimum 10 years proven experience with national/ international organizations in project/ program management, emergency/ disaster management and managing large teams
- Having good understanding of strategic and operational level planning as well as organizational development
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently, handle a variety of concurrent activities, rank priorities, organize work efficiently, and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under time constraints
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Dynamic and willing to take initiative.
- Ability to supervise/ manage various project teams simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing contexts and priorities
- Must be aware of the GBV and diversity and inclusion, especially the rights of women, children and marginalized groups
- Deep commitment to social justice
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Job Description:
- Responsible for management of all regular and emergency/ early recovery projects, being executed at national and regional level
- Ensuring quality assurance, integrity and accountability in all projects – in compliance to ACTs policies and donors’ requirements
- Managing the project teams’ performance by regular coordination with the relevant project managers
- Managing coordination with other departments of ACT to timely solve issues related to HR, Finance and Field Operations
- Robust team building by enhanced coordination, motivation and support to projects teams, at head office and at field level
- Will provide necessary support to the media and communication team in developing various materials for image building and branding of ACT and mass awareness
- Identification and resolving likely challenges and risks to ensure successful execution of projects’ activities on ground
- Providing inputs during the program development phase, developing work plans and execution strategies
- Submitting propositions to the ACT’s management and donors regarding upgrading the current interventions and/ or initiating new interventions
- Representation of ACT in meetings with donor agencies and key stakeholders at national and regional level
- Reporting/ presenting the progress of all projects on regular and agreed intervals to ACT’s management and donors
Overall Program Implementation of all programs at every level
