Job Description:

Position Objective

A USAID funded Project is hiring an ACF Coordinator based in Karachi. To enhance accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness in implementing ACF screening activities using AI-equipped portable X-rays by defining clear team roles, ensuring adherence to national TB guidelines and safeguarding principles, and fostering a well-trained, motivated, and collaborative team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Defining Roles and Responsibilities

  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities for each team member to enhance accountability and operational efficiency.

2. Supporting Field Implementation

  • Provide support to the field team for conducting ACF screening activities using AI-equipped portable X-ray machines.

3. Adherence to SOPs and Guidelines

  • Ensure the implementation of agreed-upon SOPs and compliance with national TB guidelines in daily operations.

4. Coordination with Provincial Coordinator

  • Collaborate with the Provincial Coordinator for effective planning and execution of ACF activities.

5. Training on Data Entry

  • Ensure all team members are trained on data entry procedures and emphasize timely reporting using mobile applications.

6. Timely Reporting and Documentation

  • Oversee the timely submission of reports and financial documents.

7. Performance Reviews

  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify training needs and areas for improvement.

8. Equipment Maintenance

  • Schedule routine checks to ensure portable X-ray machines are functional and address any issues promptly.

9. Data Management

  • Facilitate the timely collection, review, and consolidation of monthly progress reports on ACF screening activities in coordination with the M&E team.

10. Safeguarding and Ethical Practices

  • Provide training on safeguarding principles to ensure the team handles participants ethically and sensitively.
  • Ensure safeguarding principles are adhered to during all activities.

11. Team Motivation and Resilience

  • Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere, encouraging teamwork and resilience.

Educational & Experience Requirements

The individual holding this position shall possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably a medical doctor.
  • At least two years of field management experience, ideally in health sector NGOs or USAID-funded projects.
  • Proven ability to manage field teams and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Strong technical skills in gadget use and data entry.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, leadership, problem-solving, integrity, resilience, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
