For the hiring of E-Commerce Training Service Provider
Preamble
Pak Mission Society (PMS) is a national humanitarian and development organization established in 2004. Founded by a group of Christian professionals, PMS envisions reaching the unreached to bring hope, dignity, respect, and love through emergency relief efforts and long-term rehabilitation and development programs. PMS holds a valid Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Economic Affairs Division (EAD), Government of Pakistan, until August 2024, and is certified as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) under the evaluation standards of the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy.
PMS is currently implementing the Entre’ Sol Lab for Youth of Jaranwala – Phase II in Tehsil Jaranwala, District Faisalabad. This initiative focuses on youth empowerment and digital skills development, targeting 35 selected male and female beneficiaries. The program aims to equip participants with essential digital marketing skills, enabling them to participate in the growing digital economy and achieve economic self-reliance.
Scope of Work
The selected Training Service Provider (TSP) will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive E-Commerce Training Program tailored for the identified youth of Jaranwala. This program will include:
- Development of curriculum aligned with industry standards and accredited by relevant authorities (e.g., NAVTTC, TEVTA Punjab).
- At least 70% of the training will involve hands-on practical sessions to ensure actionable skill development.
- The training duration will for 4 weeks, on-site sessions from December 09th, 2024.
- Bi-monthly post training follow-up sessions for two months to guide participants in applying learned skills effectively.
Certification and Accreditation
Participants will receive industry-recognized certificates upon successful completion of the program by the TSP. The TSP must be affiliated with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA Punjab) to ensure credibility and compliance with national standards.
Key Deliverables of the TSP
The Training Service Provider will deliver the following:
- Development of training module tailored to the needs of the participants, approved by relevant authorities.
- Meta Ads setup and campaign management (1-time setup).
- Canva Pro access for one year.
- 20 optimized business Excel templates.
- 20 premium e-commerce store themes.
- Partnerships with courier services for Cash on Delivery (COD) setups.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Pre- and post-training assessments to measure participant progress.
- Weekly progress review meetings with the PMS project team.
- A final examination to evaluate participant competency
Additional Support:
- Provision of lifetime mentorship for selected trainees.
- Logistical support, including boarding and lodging, for training in Jaranwala.
Responsibilities of PMS
PMS will provide the following support:
- Trainee Management:
- Registration and attendance tracking.
- Provision of necessary information about participants.
- Training Logistics:
- PMS will provide computer lab setup
- A toolkit for each participant.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of training quality.
Safeguarding and Child Protection
PMS is committed to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for any form of exploitation, abuse, harassment, or discrimination. All partners, including the TSP, must comply with PMS’s safeguarding and child protection policies, including but not limited to:
- Ensuring safe and respectful interactions with all participants.
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns through the PMS complaint response mechanism.
- Avoiding inappropriate physical contact and ensuring male personnel are accompanied by female staff when engaging with female trainees.
- Respecting local norms and obtaining consent for photography or videography.
Essential and Desirable Experience/Qualifications
The selected TSP must meet the following criteria:
- Experience:
- At least 10–15 years of demonstrated experience in e-commerce training, preferably with donor-funded projects.
- Experience in workforce development leading to gainful employment.
- Accreditation:
- Valid registration with NAVTTC, TEVTA, or other relevant authorities.
- Capacity:
- Adequate physical infrastructure and human resources.
- Qualified instructors with relevant diplomas and experience.
- Flexibility:
- Ability to adjust and adapt implementation strategies based on situational needs.
