The Foundation is seeking the services of a Program Manager. The position is located at the Foundation Country office in Islamabad.

Minimum Qualification Required: |
Master’s degree in Project Management, Social sciences, Legal Studies, or relevant fields. |

Minimum Experience Required: |
A minimum of 10 years of experience in INGO/NGO or donor-funded programs is required. Candidates with specific expertise in Rule of Law programming will be given priority consideration. |

Minimum Computer Skills Required: |
Essential to advanced proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to the role, including but not limited to productivity software (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), email and communication platforms, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems as needed. |

Any Preferences: |
- An in-depth understanding of Pakistan's legal system, encompassing its structure, key institutions, and procedural mechanisms. - This includes familiarity with relevant legal policies, regulatory frameworks, and constitutional provisions, as well as the implementation and interpretation of laws across various jurisdictions within the country. - Strong track record in result-based project management, performance management planning, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder management. - The project focuses on enhancing women's roles in Pakistan's judicial system. We need a program manager who is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject. - Ideal candidates will have extensive experience managing programs for nonprofit national or international development organizations. - Please indicate if you have experience in promoting gender equality, capacity building, supporting women's representation in the judiciary, or implementing gender-focused legal initiatives. Position: Program Manager
JOB FUNCTIONS:
An experienced and dedicated Program Manager is needed to oversee a project to improve women's roles in Pakistan's judiciary.
A commitment to gender equality, social inclusion, and respect for cultural diversity is integral to this role.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Implement program activities in line with the project’s objectives to promote women’s participation and leadership in the judicial system.
- Provide technical oversight and support to the implementing partner for all the relevant interventions, including, but not limited to, overseeing the design and delivery of project interventions and setting deliverables for assessment studies, capacity-building initiatives, outreach, and advocacy activities aimed at empowering women in the legal profession.
- Track ongoing activities of partners/grantees, consultants, and other external service providers to ensure all program activities and reports are delivered at high quality, making the most effective and efficient use of program resources.
- Develop result-based work plans, detailed intervention trackers, and timelines for effective program delivery in line with budget availability.
- Develop and implement a monitoring, evaluation, and research framework to assess program progress and impact.
- Prepare periodic reports and document case studies for internal and donor use.
- Facilitate policy analysis and advocacy efforts to promote programmatic goals.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure due diligence, overall project progress, and effective coordination between the team members.
- Provide guidance and capacity-building opportunities for team members and partners.
- Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and advocacy initiatives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including government institutions, judiciary, legal professionals, civil society organizations, and donors.
- Good financial understanding of programmatic budgets, experience managing them and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor financial guidelines. Responsible for Grants and contracts management and due compliance.
- Excellent English language, communication, and presentation skills.
