About the role:
The Women Medical Officer (WMO) will provide high-quality medical care to women and children at the Mother and Child Healthcare (MCH) Center. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients, providing antenatal and postnatal care, managing minor obstetric emergencies, and offering health education to promote maternal and child well-being. The WMO will work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate care, upholding the center’s mission of serving the community effectively.

Job Specification:
Education:
- MBBS Degree with registration of Medical and Dental Council of Pakistan
- One-year house Job in a well-known hospital
Work Experience:
- At least 2-5 years of experience in maternal health (preferred)
Skills and Competencies:
- Medical Expertise: Strong knowledge of gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal and child health. Excellent project planning, budgeting, and risk management skills.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to assess and diagnose common conditions affecting women and children.
- Clinical Procedures: Proficiency in performing minor gynecological and obstetric procedures.
- Emergency Care: Ability to handle minor obstetric emergencies and stabilize patients as needed.
- Record Keeping: Competency in maintaining accurate and detailed patient medical records.
The responsibilities listed above cover most of the tasks that would be performed by the job holder in this position; however, staff may be assigned any other official tasks as and when required.
