Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and execution of the SWISH project, ensuring alignment with WaterAid’s goals and donor requirements.
- Health System Strengthening: Oversee the integration of RMNCH and WASH services at primary healthcare facilities, ensuring access to safe water, hand hygiene stations, clean clinical spaces, and waste management systems.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local health authorities, government agencies, and partners to co-design and implement effective health and WASH approaches.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Lead the monitoring and evaluation of project activities, ensuring timely reporting and effective tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization and compliance with financial guidelines.
- Team Management: Supervise and provide technical support to the project team, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of activities.
- Capacity Building: Support training and capacity-building efforts for project staff, local partners, and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and donors.
Education At least a master's degree in Public Health from a recognized university. Degree in Medical Sciences (MBBS, MD) will be an advantage. Experience
