Job Summary:

To perform transport duties & carrying out vehicle maintenance checks. Working on nights and weekends and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use.

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, keep track of general maintenance schedules, especially car tyre condition. Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
• Change oil, check tires, lights horn, clutch and brakes and wash car regularly. keep the service vehicle(s) in clean condition, both inside and outside
• Maintains accurate, up-to-date records on field visits, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management
• Maintain log book of each service vehicle on daily basis. Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident
• Maintain and ensure availability of all required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle

• Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
• Be able to work in cooperation with others

Job Specifications:

Education:

• Secondary School Certificate

Work Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Local will be preferred
• Valid Driving Licence 

Skills:

• Excellent driving skills.
• Strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies and local roads and conditions.
• Strong defensive driving skills
• Skills in minor vehicle repairs
• Professional appearance and punctuality.
• Good people skills
• Awareness and Sensitivity regarding Child & Vulnerable adults’ protection/people with special needs
• Accountability
• Maintains confidentiality
• Respect for diversity
