• The Logistic Officer shall be responsible to prepare Procurement plan as per the programme’s requirement.
- He/she will be responsible to initiate the procurements as per policy guidelines.
- Draft, modify, and amend Supplier contracts, lease contracts, rental agreements, fuel and vehicle contracts, etc.
- Provide all logistics support to the program teams for smooth operations, related to programmes activities.
- Provide efficient support and ensure the success of the overall procurement & logistics activities, while providing efficient utilization of resources by logistics procedures.
- Analyse and process requests for procurement of goods and services for Provincial headquarter and District offices including office supplies etc., to ensure adherence to the standard Pakistan Red Crescent logistics guidelines.
- Supervise all logistical arrangements ensuring proper quality control, specification compliance, monitoring and verification of deliveries, plus timely delivery.
- Fleet management at provincial headquarters and district branches, ensure proper vehicles maintenance, updating of log books, etc.
- Update vehicle management system regularly and check vehicles log sheet on daily basis and complete checkups once in a month i.e. engine, Tires, battery, Ac, heater, break etc. condition.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of the designated driver’s tasks.
- Record keeping of all the assets including vehicles, equipment, furniture etc.
- Ensure timely preparations and submission of payment release documents including GRNs, Purchase orders, invoices, etc.
- Conducts frequent field visits and ensure smooth supply of goods and services.
- Formulates and coordinates all required supplies control measures, supplies tracking systems, accounting systems and generally accepted commodity accounting principles to ensure compliance at all levels.
- Identify requirements and establish & maintain all logistical infrastructures for administration and operations.
- To ensure vehicles drivers orientation once in a month.
- Maintain office stationery items and develop assets management control mechanism. Issue stationery to staff as per the approval.
- Oversee the logistics management of emergency and regular food/noon food commodities from the time of arrival until its receipt at the final distribution center through air or by road.
- Maintenance of office building, and team house and ensuring proper functionality of the office.
- Extend support to Provincial and District Warehousing when required.
- Maintain proper record and generate monthly reports as required.
- Any other job-related added task assigned by the supervisor.
