CESVI is an international NGO that has been operating in Pakistan since 2005 and works in over 25 countries worldwide. The organization has implemented various humanitarian and development projects across all provinces of Pakistan. Currently, CESVI is carrying out a Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) project in collaboration with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), funded by ECHO, in the districts of MPK and Karachi. This project focuses on building institutional capacity, raising awareness in rural areas, and facilitating early action based on real-time weather forecasting for better preparedness.

As part of this project, CESVI intends to develop a web-based application (both a website and a mobile application). Detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) regarding the requirements and technical aspects are attached to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) as Annexure 02.

All interested software development companies are requested to carefully read the RFQ and its ToRs. A meeting will be held on 29th January 2025 at the PDMA Karachi Office (physical attendance is preferred, but virtual participation is also allowed) to discuss and understand the requirements. Since PDMA Karachi will be the custodian and administrator of this application, all requirements will be communicated during this meeting.

Interested companies should submit their technical and financial proposals by 3^rd February 2025 to the CESVI Country Office. After initial review and financial evaluations, only shortlisted bidders will be contacted for a presentation of their technical proposals at the PDMA Office, after which the final vendor will be selected.
