Pak Women is seeking proposals/quotation from vendor for provision of the coaster buses for pick and drop service for students with disabilities including wheelchair users from pickup point to training institute/ university and back to the drop point within the area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in the CBM funded project.

Interested rental companies should submit their proposals/quotation in sealed envelopes marked “proposal/quotation for rental of Coaster /coaches for students pick and Drop”. The sealed proposals/quotation must reach Pak Women office-Operations Department, House No. 16, Street 09, G-13/3, Islamabad before or by Jan 15, 2025 through courier services only.

Provision of Coaster Buses for Pick & Drop Services for Students with Disabilities 

Pak Women is registered under Societies Act 1860 in 2012. Pak Women, a non-profit national organization, is dedicated to enhancing income-generating opportunities for youth with disabilities from slum areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in the CBM funded project. Pak Women is seeking proposals/quotation from vendor for provision of the coaster buses for pick and drop service for students with disabilities including wheelchair users from pickup point to training institute/ university and back to the drop point within the area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in the CBM funded project.

The following facilities are required particular for student with disability:

-        Coasters/coaches are required for the pick and drop of 30 male and female youth with disability within the premises of Rawalpindi city and Islamabad (ICT).for approximately 12 days per month and total for three months.

-        Coaster buses must have space and steel ramp for wheelchair users.

-         Ensure appropriate seating arrangements for wheelchair users. Display a "Persons with Disabilities Accessible" sign at the back of the bus, clearly visible. Provide wheelchair accessibility from either the back or side of the vehicle. Each bus must have one attendant/helper present during the pick-and-drop service.

-        The rental company must ensure that the buses are fully maintained and in excellent condition for travel. In case of a breakdown, immediate replacement of the vehicle is mandatory.

 Pick-and-drop timings, dates, and locations will be communicated in writing to the selected vendor. Drivers and attendants must be sensitive to disabilities and exhibit respectful behavior towards persons with disabilities. A complaint/feedback box for passengers must be installed within the bus.

General Terms and Conditions:

-        Specify any maintenance charges (e.g., oil changes) in addition to the rental fee.

-         Quoted rates must include all applicable government taxes. Vehicle models must be manufactured in 2015 or later. Provide separate rate quotations for different vehicle models, if applicable.
