Scope and Purpose of the Consultancy

The consultancy aims to create a roadmap for institutionalizing a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) case management curriculum in Baluchistan to ensure sustainable capacity building for the social welfare workforce. The target groups include social workers, students, government and private helpline/shelter staff (e.g., Dar-ul- Aman, Crisis Centres), police, Women Development Department and Women’s Commission staff, NGOs, activists, and community-based organizations working on GBV, human rights, and child rights. The roadmap will identify entry points for integrating the curriculum into training and professional development.

Timeline of the Consultancy: The Technical expert will be hired for 30 days.

Required qualifications

  • Master degree in Gender Studies, psychology, social work or any other social sciences related degree with extensive experience of working with GBV survivors, case management and psychosocial support.
Experience
 
  • At least 15 years of working experience in Gender, GBV, and psychosocial support trainings.
  • Sound working experience with GBV related key stakeholders including SWD, WDD, and Police etc.
  • Excellent facilitation skills are required for the consultant with track record of conducting trainings on issues mentioned above.
  • Cross-cultural working experience in the field of community based psychosocial support is desired.
  • Excellent analytic thinking and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to complete tasks within a set time frame.
  • Strong work ethics and commitment to principles of inclusiveness.
