It focuses on empowering marginalized communities—especially women, youth, and minorities—through initiatives in education, health, climate change, youth development, and social justice. SCF holds special consultative status with the UN ECOSOC and is PCP certified. With regional offices across Sindh, SCF has earned national and international recognition for advancing community resilience and rights-based development.

Job Summary:

The main tasks involve developing and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, managing the youth leaders, trainings and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. To be successful as a District Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines.

Job Description:

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties

Support in creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Support the Project manager in ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project strand.
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable for Thatta district.
Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise for the designated district.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests for the trainings and overall project deliverables.
Organizing, attending and participating in the trainings and advocacy events.
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensuring project deadlines are met.

District Coordinator Requirements:

Bachelor degree in business or related field of study.
Three years' experience in development sector preferably in Education.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience using computer for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge files management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
Ability to work on tight deadlines.
