Job Title: Research Associate
Duty Station: Head Office, Islamabad
Reporting to: Team Lead, UIL

Background
Research and Development Solutions (RADS) is a for-profit private-sector organization providing research, technical assistance, surveys, and monitoring services in partnership with governments, donors, and NGOs.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform advanced quantitative research, including data cleaning and analysis of primary and secondary data.
• Write research articles for publication in academic journals.
• Collaborate with academic partners to introduce RADS’s work, and to design short and long courses for universities that embed the application of statistics and econometrics.
• Design and deliver training courses related to quantitative research, statistics, and econometrics for other stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for various stakeholders.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education:

• At least a Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with working knowledge of statistical software (ideally SPSS; knowledge of STATA or R is acceptable).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of various quantitative data analysis and data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Creativity in developing and designing research outputs.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Fluency in written and spoken Urdu is required.
