MEL Officer (Female) - Battagram (01)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, or Development Studies.

Experience /Skill:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), preferably within the NGO or development sector.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing MEL systems, conducting field monitoring visits, and managing data collection and validation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of MEL frameworks, methodologies, tools, and indicator tracking aligned with project goals and donor requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and demonstrated ability in data visualization and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with field teams, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with digital data collection platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu is required; knowledge of local languages such as Pashto or Hindko is an asset, especially for field-level data collection and engagement.

Key Responsibilities / JDs:

Design, implement, and manage effective MEL systems to ensure systematic tracking of project activities, outputs, outcomes, and learning in alignment with project objectives.

Develop and refine indicators, data collection tools, methodologies, and reporting formats to support accurate and timely monitoring of project progress.

Conduct regular field monitoring visits to assess implementation quality, verify data, and provide feedback for program improvement.

Lead the collection, analysis, and validation of data for ongoing activities, ensuring adherence to data quality standards and donor compliance.

Prepare accurate and timely progress reports, dashboards, presentations, and other MEL products for internal use and external stakeholders.

Document and disseminate lessons learned, success stories, case studies, and best practices to promote evidence-based decision-making and adaptive program management.

Support program teams in the integration of MEL processes into daily operations and ensure MEL activities contribute to overall program quality.

Maintain organized and secure MEL records, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection protocols.

Collaborate with project staff, partners, and communities to foster a learning culture and strengthen the use of MEL findings for program improvement.
