Position Title: Program Officer
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (with travel to field locations as required)

We are seeking a competent and motivated Program Officer to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of our ongoing projects across Pakistan. The Program Officer will work closely with the management team, partners, and field staff to ensure timely, effective, and transparent project delivery in line with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide programmatic and administrative support for project implementation across sectors, including water, food security, education, and healthcare.
- Assist in developing project proposals, reports, and documentation for donors and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with partner organizations, consultants, and field teams to ensure project activities are implemented as per work plans.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of projects, including data collection, verification, and analysis.
- Contribute to quality control, compliance checks, and due diligence processes for ongoing and new projects.
- Participate in field visits to monitor project progress and document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Assist in organizing meetings, trainings, and capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners.
- Maintain proper records, databases, and project files, ensuring transparency and easy retrieval of information.
- Draft communication materials, briefing notes, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, program support, or coordination with NGOs/INGOs.
- Familiarity with humanitarian and development work, especially in sectors such as water, food security, education, and health.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and documentation skills in English.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Pakistan, sometimes in remote areas.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of data management tools is an advantage.
