Job descreption and Specification
1. Project Planning & Implementation
- Lead the development of detailed implementation plans aligned with project objectives and logframe.
- Supervise and provide capacity building support to project staff to ensure effective delivery of activities.
- Monitor project progress using defined indicators and ensure timely documentation of results, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate with local authorities and line departments to facilitate smooth implementation and avoid duplication.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services in accordance with donor and organizational procurement guidelines.
- Support the organization and facilitation of meetings, workshops, and community sessions related to the project.
- Ensure compliance with internal and donor reporting requirements, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and final reports.
2. Budget & Financial Management
- Prepare monthly budget forecasts in coordination with the finance team.
- Monitor project expenditure to ensure alignment with approved budgets and donor financial plans.
- Ensure financial accountability and proper cost allocation as per donor compliance standards.
3. Coordination & Representation
- Represent LPP and the BRAVE Project in district-level coordination forums and technical working groups.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including NGOs, CBOs, community leaders, private sector actors, and government counterparts.
- Work closely with vocational training institutes to implement skill-building programs aligned with community needs.
- Advocate for the inclusion of women and marginalized groups in vocational and development initiatives.
4. Personnel Management
- Facilitate recruitment of project staff in coordination with HR.
- Provide direct supervision, mentoring, and performance management support to the project team.
- Ensure each team member has a clear job description, performance objectives, and receives regular feedback.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment in line with LPP’s policies and values.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the development or humanitarian sector.
- At least 3 years’ experience in implementing vocational training or livelihood projects in rural or underserved areas, preferably in South Punjab.
- Strong preference for female candidates with:
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for community-based trainings.
- Experience in designing and delivering community-based learning sessions.
- Strong networking and coordination skills, especially in challenging field environments.
Proven oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an asset.
