Job Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering a memorable shopping experience to our customers. Your role will involve not only selling our beautifully handcrafted products but also educating customers about the artisans behind them, building relationships, and fostering a positive atmosphere that reflects the mission of our Outlet at Kabir Afridi Restaurant Peshwar.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Actively engage with customers, providing product knowledge and helping them make informed purchase decisions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by offering excellent customer service and personalized attention.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, fostering loyalty to our cause and products.
- Product Knowledge & Storytelling:
- Learn and understand the backstories of the handmade products and artisans to share with customers.
- Communicate the mission of our outlet and the social impact of each purchase to customers.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and assist in the stocking and organizing of inventory, ensuring product availability and presentation are maintained.
- Assist with product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and aligned with store branding.
- Customer Experience:
- Provide a warm and welcoming environment for every customer.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and customer-friendly at all times.
- Sales Reporting & Administrative Support:
- Track and report on daily sales and customer feedback.
- Help maintain customer records and input sales data into the store’s system.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related field.
- Passion for social entrepreneurship, supporting refugees, and promoting sustainable, handmade goods.
- Previous experience with ethnic or handmade products is a plus.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with a diverse customer base and provide exceptional service.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for achieving sales targets.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in the stories and craftsmanship behind the products.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting is preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A genuine interest in the social mission of our outlet and a desire to contribute to the success of Afghan refugee artisans.
